sounds like you are missing the steel wire

that goes between the two release levers on tracks...


when you pull on one lever, wire simultaneous pull other lever

still seems low to me for a for a fairly freshly rebuilt windsor..
on re-build, I would expect at least 30 at idle.


FE's seems more common with lower pressure readings
more...

sometimes worn cam bearings will show same signs..
good pressure cold but as it heats up pressure drops



was cam bearing replaced in rebuild or was motor just freshened up
with a hone new...

rod attaches higher up on pedal assembly... not sure what actual ratio is , but lets say 4:1 so for example 1/4" of movement of rod would = 1" of movement at bottom of actual pedal

sounds like clutch is not fully disengaged..
making input shaft turn and causing hard shifting/put in gear..


try adjust clutch rod so pedal comes up a little higher.. see if that helps..

same for black knob...
if i remember correctly in center of chrome button there is a set screw...

theres no relay .. you switch is a two way switch and just reverse polarity ..
power from under the hood uses a 30 amp short stop(circuit breaker)


first make sure theres enuff fluid in pump and...

if you remove top lip. it would lay flat and cover most of radiator core..


measurement distance to water pump pulley

did you figure that with shroud flat or at an angle...

fans would be mounted to shroud, not directly on top of radiator core.


allowing air to be sucked thru whole core section, not just directly in front of fan blades...

X2...use a stiff putty knife to drive/wedge under badge gently pry up ..
go at it from a few directions...
worst scenario you have remove nut/bolt behind kick-panel and bottom of fender to pull...
