History
This is 1 of 600 K-Code Fairlanes ever made in 1964.

All Thunderbolts started as 289 HiPo "K-Code" 2-door post cars. The total T-Bolt numbers vary from 100-127 which would leave about 473 to 500 of them available to the general public. All K-Code Fairlanes were Special Order and this one was coupled with the top of the line Sports Coupe option which makes it one of the rarest Fairlane 500's ever made. It actually makes it harder to find one of these cars today than to find an actual production T-Bolt.

So, of all Fairlanes built in 1964 this is .0019 or less than 1/5 of 1% (if we use the non-TBolt maximum number of 500)

Of all 2dr Fairlanes built in 1964 this is .005 or 1/2 of 1%

That number is much lower if we factor in the Sports Coupe option. I believe it to be in the less than 100 range based on research. At the 100 number we are at .03 or 3/100ths of a percent. Another way to look at it would be that 99.97% of all Fairlanes built were NOT this car.

BARN FIND: The previous owner had it for the last 30 years before I picked it up in his dirt floor barn.

This is one VERY RARE car and a nice piece of Ford's Total Performance history.
