History
This is 1 of 5 cars that were originally shipped to Peru and raced professionally when new. It was the 1967-8 national champion. It came back to the states in the 80’s and was raced for a few years winning many events.
I had a lot of fun restoring this one. When it was completed, we took it to the historic Monterey race in California’s lacuna seca raceway. That was it’s first outing since the full restoration. It also attended the Shelby event in Pennsylvania where it received the gold award in its class
