Chassis dyno, correct? It seems a little weak. How much do they charge to allow you to tune on the dyno? It sounds like you don't have all the systems balanced to one another (timing-fuel, etc).

Were they able to give you an exhaust gas analysis?

Re: 347 bhp

Brake horsepower is at the crank. Rear wheel horsepower is done on a chassis dyno. Did you have the engine run up by itself or was it in the car?

Regardless, soulds like it just needs tuning. At the least the dyno shop should have given you your air to fuel ratio plot so you could see where your carb is.

Re: 347 bhp

Max theoretical hp versus cfm = (cfm x .25) x 8 or 240/4 x 8 = 480. You will probably only get 80 to 90 percent of that at most so then it would be 384 to 432 at the flywheel. Accounting for loss to the rear you would be looking at 50 to 75 horsepower so then it is 309 to 334 at the rear wheels. I would expect to see your rear wheel horsepower in the 309 to 334 range based on the info you described for your set up.
