Re: Kasse P-51 heads. Anyone use them?

the p-51s are no doubt an out standing head....but...i have a 572bbf which i at first had a set of blue thunder heads with bbc exhaust ports with some cnc work done made rite at 900hp just this last summer i switched to a p51. on the flow bench the blue thunders and the p51s had about the same numbers, same cc combustion chambers, same cam, and with the p-51s made 75 hp less....def going back to the blue thunders...but def not discarding the p-51s though..for sure a great cylinder head...but for about the same money u can get a set of blue thunders...if u can find a set that is...art francis quit casting them when the p51s came out but rumor is that hes going to start casting them again...

Several brands were shown that I had never seen before. 460ford.com did an outstanding job putting on this program. There are several people at that site that run them. I attended one at Mr Evens shop a couple years ago. A lot of great stuff to see parts and cars. One guy drove a Rat Rod truck from St Louis will never forget.
