rods/pistons for a NA 347 stroker

Hallo,
I am in the process to build a new 347 Stroker.
Fixed are:
5.0 Rollerblock
Trick Flow 185 CNC Heads
Custom Cam from FTI
Scat 9000 Crank

My goal is to reach 425 HP and a revlimit at 6500.
But in the future, when my second Tiger is finished (MK2)
I will lift the power and the revlimit by switching to a solid roller setup.(say 7000 U/min)
What rods will be fine for this:
-Summit I-beam Stage1, actually for 179 Dollar
-Scat Ibeam
-Probel lightweight I beam.

I do not like the H-beam because of the higher weight.

Pistons:
I do have a set of Probe FPS Flat Pistons
Are they good enough or should I go to:
Mahle
Trick Flow
Probe SRS
or something else.

I hope you can help me a little in my build.

Thank you
Hans

The probes are fine......the one thing you might want to consider is the 5/64 rings in the FPS piston. You might want the thinner 1/16, depending on the RPM you are going to run.

Every part you mentioned will work well in your application, so its mostly personal preference.

Ditto the first post. I have used the Ultralight rods like Probe sells since before they sold them, and are my preferred rod for high-RPM NA or light boost use. The lighter the rod (and piston/pin/rings), the higher the RPM without over-stressing. While you can get higher reliable RPM with stronger parts, you can also get it with lighter parts, or a combination of lighter and stronger. The UL rods are both. CoastHigh.com sells them now (as pictured below), among others.

Ultra-light rods from Probe/CoastHigh.com:

Here you can see the top of this type UL rod with a Probe piston during a crank-to-piston clearance check during the build of one of my street strokers:

Just FYI, Trick Flow pistons are actually made by Probe. I was not aware of this until I got my set in...the box is a Probe box, and each piston says Trick Flow made by Probe
