363 street build

Hi, I am a new member to the forum and was hoping I could get a few opinions about what combinations would work well for a 363 dart shp block. I have a little experience with 351 Clevelands and I currently have a windsor style 302 but am no expert by any stretch. I would like it to be around the 550hp mark and have reasonably good street manners. Besides having a 363 cubic inch block the only other peice I have for this build is a holley sniper throttle body style injection kit. I also have a edelebrock rpm air gap manifold on another motor that I had thought about using? Or will this just be restricting hp? A lot of us are guilty of wanting as much hp as we can get (me included) but don't want to compromise streetability too badly. I think I'll go a hydro roller and will lower hp expectations if necessary. Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance. Cheers
Matt

Re: 363 street build

AFR 185 heads , no more than 10.7cr, single plain ( for EFI) intake , high 230s to low 240s @.050 hyd roller, ought to get you to that mark and be streetable.

Re: 363 street build

Maybe there aren't that many out there that have done the "big bore" 347. The near 20 extra cubic inches is worth double that in horsepower at the flywheel over a typical 347. Look at what Ford racing gets out of their "crate" engines and they are conservative builds. I am doing a 374 myself. (3.500 stroke)
