Advice for 351w or 408w with what i have so far...
Busy doing my project and have made every mistake possible so far... Currently converting my 67 i6 stang coupe to fullfill its destiny of being "my " car here in the uk.
I have a list of stuff ive bought and would like some advice on the best bits to keep and bits to get rid of.
Id like a solid street demon that runs on pump gas, has reasonable manners and is just a really good mix of awsome fun power and usabilaty. Not a daily driver but reasonable gearing (3.25/3.5??) so motirway miles are bearable.

I have a 69 v8 c4 transmission to rebuild to suit .
Ive installed lowered 1" springs
Ive put koni adjustables on all corners. Set fronts at 1 turn from full soft. Havent done rears yet.
New 16:1 manual box
225 /17 wheels
Ive got a big block rad
Installed an export brace.
This is the part about my question....
I bought a load of bits.... Was thinking of a stroker 408 but undecided on whether to keep engine as is .
I have a rebuilt 351w .030 over. Rebored, reground crank, new rods, hypereuretic flat top pistons. Dont know the cam. It came with procomp 210cc heads 60cc chambers.
Ive a weiland stealth intake
770 street avenger ultra carb.
Afr 205 heads 58cc chmbers.
No exhaust yet.
I know the heads wont work with flat tops due to the small chambers... And are probably a bit big for a 351... But its got all new internals.
Opinions on wether to bite the bullet and stroke it, would i get a better suited combination from what ive got??
Everything costs a fortune to get over here in the uk so i am going to stop making impulsive puchases till i have a few opinions....
