I'm ready to put a 2.5" lift leveling kit on the front of our our truck and was wondering why some kits include a track bar relocating bracket and some don't?

Someone said that when only raising the front 2-2.5" it isn't needed, but at least one kit I've been looking at included it. Others say it's not necessary.

The kits I've seen are either a spring pack that's added to the stock leafs and the another type was a real short set of 4 or 5 leafs that are about a foot or so long at the top and taper down to a very short leaf on the bottom that seems more like a spacer pack than springs. This kit didn't have the track bar relocation bracket and the shop said it wasn't needed.

Any thoughts?

well your track bar needs to be the same angle as your drag link so you don't have bump steer issues.

thats 1 reason it would need relocated.
