I'm building a 289 with AFR 165 heads, Performer RPM intake, and a Comp cams XE268 grind. The car is a 65 Mustang with C4 Trans and 3.55 gears. I have 2 Edelbrock carbs (600cfm & 750cfm) already that I can use.
With everyone's experience, are these carbs OK for decent ET's or is a Holley carb going to make THAT MUCH of a difference?
I like the reliability of the Edelbrocks but I don't want to be losing alot of time down the strip.
Thanks for your opinions/experiences.
