hey guys,

my volt meter showed a dropped from 13volts to 8volts a few days ago.
i had my alternator tested at a parts store, it passed.
i bought a new regulator and i still had 8 volts.
so i bought a new alternator.

i had 13 volts yesturday now i only get 10 volts and thats at high way speed.

i made a sharp left turn and got 13 volts. strange....

i checked my wiring i noticed my ground wire to the block and my stator wire on the alternator were loose. i made sure they were tight and secure.

i still get 10 volts at highway speed and maybe 11 volts after i put on the turn signals.

What could it be?!

It's your Grounds Leo.

Ground the block to frame, the frame to body, the block to battery. Then another body to block just for pickles and veggetables.

I agree it is most likely your grounds. However Just because you bought a new voltage regulator does not mean it is a GOOD Voltage Regulator.

I had a similar issue a few years back with one of my Mavericks and replaced the Volatage Reg. 2 times before I got a good one.
