The Boss 351 had that kind of compression and the 92 octane available today isn't enough in my opinion. I guess you could tweak the timing to make it work, but would probably loose power in so doing. I should think you would need additives to make it run at optimum on todays fuels. Or some high zoot race fuel at $4.50 a gallon.

You should get plenty of feedback here on this since alot of the guys are running very high compression.
