Price is somewhat negotiable, and interesting partial trades are considered. It's not my car, I just listed it for a friend. From what I've seen the price isn't out of range, stuff the same condition is priced from 12,500 to 20k.

Nice 5 Window! Growing up my dad had a '34 Fordor gangster mobile. My dad's restoring a '32 5 Window these days. He "needs" a '32 driver since his '32 Station Wagon is a.. uhum trailer queen. Can't fault him since he did do a frame off 35 year restoration on it. Seriously. His next project is he's trying to buy a '35 Phaeton from some 94 year old guy who's holding out for more. Dad offered 22.5 and the old codger wants 25.

Good luck on the sale. I always liked the '34 body style.

It does appear to be a fairly nice solid car. Sadly I'm not local right now to see it in person, if I was I'd probably try to talk my friend into finishing it and selling it for even more. As you can see in the background of the pictures, he's got a full shop of projects as it is.

Your dad's 32 5 Window project sounds awesome, I'd love to see pictures. And a 35 Phaeton sounds even better but then I have a soft spot for 35 - 36 cars. I'd always hoped to find a 36 Ford of some sort for my father, but he passed away before I could come up with one. He owned several Phaetons and coupes before I came along and he always wanted another one later in life.

25k for a Phaeton sounds like a good price to me, I see them bring twice that and more when they're finished.

Since costs nearly twice that to restore them immediately $25K in the red.

Here's a couple of pics. The 5 Window body was perfect until.... until he had it suspended from a tree branch to take the frame out from under it. Of course the branch broke, the car fell on the ground, and the branch landed on it. Not bad damage but sucked to have it happen to a pristine body.

I haven't heard what condition the Phaeton is in. You'd like it though. '35 with '36 front sheet metal which apparently was an accepted practice by dealerships back then. Screwy.

And his '36 which he bought a couple of years ago from a friend who'd owned it for about 50 years.
