Maybe you needed to start out with a lower starting bid and have a reserve. I ran across your car and thought whoa, that's a lot. Not that the car isn't worth it or anything but for a starting bid I bet it scares people off a little. Sometimes I think also that things go higher when starting out low because people get into a bidding frenzy. How dare that guy try to out bid me and they keep bidding a few more dollars at a time and don't see it as so much when done that way. It's like a game.
