Trying to find the original type oil breather for the valve covers. 7 litre do you know the stock one? Anyone else might know?

its a twist on, I know that from the valve cover hole.

Jim, I still have my original valve cover and breather out in my shop. I'll get a photo of it tomorrow for you.

Jim, here's a few photos of the cap that was on my 7 Litre. Car was parked for the past 25+ years so it's a good chance this is the original factory cap, but I really don't know for sure. Looks like the cap was originally painted blue, then it some how got painted black. Anyway hope this helps.

Do you see ford logo in middle on top? I think this looks like yours but chrome right?

Yes, that looks very much the same as mine. Sorry I didn't see any stamping on mine, it may be hidden under two coats of paint. Think I'll try removing some paint off the top center to see if it has the FORD logo. I'll let you know.

Jim, after sanding off the layers of paint & rust I found my old cap has the same logo as the one you show in your pic's.

Nice and thank you for all the extra work Kelly. Now I have to pay up for that cap. Man they are pricey.
