Hello, I need to repair my radio, 1967 ford trucks have a unique “one year only” radio. I’m not having any luck finding a schematic from any of the dealers who sell them. The only number stamped on the radio is BTL308164 Thanks

Hello, Martinautobody,

Do you have a picture of the radio? Perhaps there is another number on it. The number you posted doesn't ring up in Sams Photofacts. I do have quite a collection of Sams Automotive radio repair books I'd be happy to look if you could post a picture of the entire radio please. A couple different angles might be helpful.

Cheers

p.s. I just checked and if it's the Tenna FT-67M (67 Ford Truck) I have the schematic, layout, parts list and alignment instructions. It's a very simple AM radio. As long as it's not suffering from silver migration (aka silver mica disease) in the capacitors in the IF cans, it should be really easy to repair and align. It will take more time if it's the mica capacitors in the IF cans, but certainly not impossible to repair with patience and time.

Cheers
