every dash pad i ever bought for replacement i got from stock interiors i got 2 mercury comets and bought just sat right on top of the old one no problems u couldnt even tell...

The dashpad in question is the same for many 72-9 cougar, ranchero, t-bird, montego, as well as torinos.
