I have a 1987 5.0 non mass Air car I planed on doing mass air conversion on
1st Question I just did a cam swap and injectors my old ones were pluged the injectors are out of a newer 5.0 and said to 19# injectors are all 19# injectors the same Ohm readings

2question how much lift can you go with on mass air my cam is
intake 536 exhaust 560
advertised duration is 294 304
rocker 1.6
3rd Question what kind of drivabilty problems would ocure if I tryed to run the car without mass air conversion
4 is this cam to much even for mass air I will swith to carb If need be
this motor and harness are out of a mercury marquis but is now in my 78 fairmont I drove the car daily till I swaped cam

you can go with as much lift as you want, lift is limited by your heads and ur pistons. the speed density can't account for the way the air intake changes mostly. if it is a stock car the cam is in it could be too big for your extremly tall gears. you will also have to raise your idle speed a lot to compensate for the lack of low end power. let us know exactly what cam this is, model number and who makes it. we can all be more helpful this way.
