Went to the track with my frsehly rebuilt tranny and the first couple of passes everything worked fine. Then my tranny brake wouldn't hold it on the line and when I went to second the car hit the rev. limiter so I shifted to 3rd nd it went in there fine. I have a 393 YSI vortech blow through carb setup going through it.

Might be something with the intermediate band and/or servo.
