Hallo,
I would like to build a good 260 engine for my second Tiger.
Therefore I will build a long rod engine.
Were can I get custom pistons in 3,83" borediameter and a compressionhigh of 1,365" with full floating pin?
Do you know what`s the price for a set of pistons?
They must not be forged, hypereutectic is enough.
I know that a long rod 260 engine is a little stupid, but I would like to have one.

Thanks
Hans

you will probably have to have custom pistons made for your long rod 260 ross wiseco or any other piston maker will do it but it may quite expensive but it just depends on where you get them.

I don't see anything wrong with building a 260, I have done it, and suprisingly it makes a ton of torque.

Get in touch with some piston manufactures, Ross, Wiseco, as mentioned also try Coast High Performance. Having pistons made is not all that uncommon, and although the price will be higher than off-the-shelf stuff, they still may be somewhat affordable.
