Is the convertor pilot hole size in the back of the crank different for an auto vs.standard trans? Reason I'm asking is the convertor I got from Dacco has a longer snub that goes in the crank than my original. This does not allow the convertor and flywheel to mate against each other due to the convertor bottoming out in the crankshaft pilot hole.Dacco is telling me I have a different crankshaft than original that is causing the problem. Thanks to all that respond.

Did you try to sand the paint off of the converter? I think the nub on mine was a little longer, but it did fit.
Good Luck

I am not aware of a different crank for auto vs. manual tans. It probably is the converter. Check the pilot diameter and length against another known good converter.
