I just got my turboed 4cyl mustang going with a c4. The tranny was recently rebuilt and ran in a stock 75 ford pinto. I installed it in my car and everything works fine except that it flares really bad in second starting at 3000rpm, I adjusted the band and it didn't really help. This tranny has a Z servo in it, I was gonna try to find a H servo for it. Could there be something else wrong? VB maybe? any help would be appriciated thanks.

Sounds like a slip then. The band is not holding. The servo is most likey the fault then.In 2nd the front band is on and the forward clutch. If 1st and 3rd are ok then the forward clutch is fine since it is on in those gears too.
Best way to see is to drop the valvebody and air test the servo and see.Maybe look and see if you can see what the band looks like too,
