How much are you guys payin per foot for 2x3 x ~.083" square tubing

Go to an Industrial metal supply house and ask if they carry 'Rems'
They are usually not perfect. But you might find just enough length out of a damaged 12 footer, or multiple ones.They usually sell it by weight.
Thats what i did when i did my connectors on my Pinto. I picked up 12 feet of 1 1/2x3 .125 thick and had it cut for about $25 and all the rest of the steel i bought was around $12 to $15. For $40 I picked up a heck of a lot of steel.
Dont even think of "Home Depot" THey have a limited supply and its Sky HIGH.

Last time I bought some it was $2/ft from a chassis supplier...who got it dirt cheap. That was about 3 years ago. 'Course if it's chinese made steel, it shouldn't be a whole lot more expensive
