Hey everyone. I just discovered this: Mooneyes has an adaptor to use 289/302 intakes on a 351W! This is what I have wanted to do for quite a while but now I am going with EFI but I thought othres might be interested.

Someone actually thinks that AIR is going to pass through those lawn mower ports? I'd have figured they would at least make it useable out of the box....

I was thinking the same thing. If one wants to get good flow out of a 289 3/2 or 2/4 intake and this adaptor, one would have to port them out. But then, these are not really race items.

Price mototrsports does have a nice adaptor, but according to their websire (which is a bit behind on the updates) they are supposed to be relaesing a dual quad manifold for the 351W early this year.

Why would you people eve want/need to put a 289 intake on a 351 in the first place

It's like the time I put 351 4V heads on a 400 block. I had to use Weiand spacer plates.Then I had to modify the distributor to clear the elevated intake manifold.Look for an intake that will meet your needs .Just wanted you to know.

Because a 351W 3 deuce intake is rarer than hen's teeth?
