All,

I have the option of buying a complete 302 from a 91 GT or a 351 from an 89 F250. These will be for my 67 coupe

1) Is the 351 from 89 F250 a roller block?

2) Is this 351 block stronger than the 302 block?

3) the 91 GT block is roller correct?

4) anything else to look at when going to see these two motors?

I am not so sure the 89 351w is a roller block, could run solid ronners in it though.
The 351w is a stronger block.
makes a real strong stroker ala 393 or 408

A $400 stroker crank can be used in a 351W block with stock 351W rods and 302 pistons to yield 393ci. Add in a good set of heads, and you're making SERIOUS power.
I'm with Mike. Roller lifters don't make up for this kind of displacement under any kind of reasonable rpm.

I'd go with the 351. Stroking it is pretty cheap too, not much more than a regular rebuild.
How heavy is the car that the motor is goin in, and what gears are it it?
I only ask cause if it's a reasonable weight, like under 3300 lbs, and you've got decent gears, and you want to keep the $$$ low, then go with the 351W, not stroked.
Strokers are great, don't get me wrong, they'll give you so much more low end torque. If you've got a heavy car then consider a stroker, but if you don't need all the low end grunt an average rebuilt 351 will be better at the top end vs. an average stroked 351. If all that power is at the bottom end in a light car you'll roast the tires before you get a good launch.
