HI,
I using a MSD Ready to run Distributor, MSD Blaster HVC-2 Coil,
and a MSD Digital 6 plus ignition Control.

MSD states that Compression determines the plug gap up to 10.5:1: .050-.060 the higher the compression the smaller the gap ?

I gaped the plugs at .048 with 10.0:1 compression ? does all this make any sense ?

The above article has some pretty good info. It doesn't really answer your question though, it seems to suggest that rather than modifying the plug gap, you would change the heat range of the plug. In your case, probably 1 step cooler.

Personally I would think .048 would be a good starting point, but there are others who know a lot more than me!

+1. While you may get more later with gap tuning, I agree for now that's a good place to start.

I would gap it at 45.
