Ok, Here is my plan for my 331 stroker build up as follows;

-roller block
-bored 30 over and align hone
-deck block for added compression
-eagle stroker kit (forged SRP pistons, I beam rods, Cast crank, ARP bolts)
-compression should be arround 9.5 to 9.7
-Edelbrock RPM heads (Allready have these)
-Holley 650DP (Allready have it)
-Edelbrock RPM intake (Allready have it)
-MSD dizzy,6AL box,Wires and coil (Allready have these)

The rest of my combo is;

2.5 inch exhaust (with H pipe)
4 spd top loader tranny
center force DF clutch
8.8 posi rearend with 3.73 gears

So whay hyd roller cam is going to work well with the above combo? The car is 70% street and 30% track. I would like to make as much power as I can. I also like/prefer a really rough idle, Actually the rougher the better. Any thoughts on the above combo and what cam is needed is appreciated. Thanks.

I would save a few extra pennies and have a custom grind done by jay at camshaftinnovations.com, if you really want the most out of the engine. Tell him I sent you

I would use Comps #3190 intake lobe and #3314 exhaust: 214-224 @.050 with .565-.536 lift using 1.6 rockers and have it cut on a 108 lobe center. I recommend using Comps beehives with this cam grind as the intake is a fast ramp and will go sour at 6000 rpm unless you run the beehives.
