I got a block and there was a hole in the lifter valley leading into the chamber where the distributor goes into. I dont see any reason why this would be a problem but if anyone has seen this and knows anything about it that would be great.
mine has it also, I think it's so that some of the oil drains down the front and on to the distributor. I looked in my book, and they say alot of the guys that run on the track bore out the holes and run auxiliary oil plumming. they all have their little tricks.
