I got a block and there was a hole in the lifter valley leading into the chamber where the distributor goes into. I dont see any reason why this would be a problem but if anyone has seen this and knows anything about it that would be great.

The thing is that is does not look like it was ment to be there. It is kind of in the side wall ans the edges are a bit jagged.
