I have a 1969 Ford Torino GT that has a 351 Cleveland V8 in it. The wires going from under the dash to the motor seem to be all discombobulated and I'm having trouble figuring out which wire goes to what...

I'm basically just looking for a wiring diagram, if anyone could steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

You need a FORD name and a Wiring diagram for a 69 Torino...

A Painless wiring harness may be in your near future. As for the Cleveland in your car, it was swapped in there so you're gonna have to improvise a little.

ALL 70's engiens have only a couple most important wires.

1: Coil +

2: Temp

3: Oil pressure or switch (both are important)


All other wiring is moot unless it's NOT there. Nothing else get's disconnected for a motor instal.
