I used to. But I got tired of getting told that my motor combo, specifically my intake, was too old and outdated, and basically junk. What really ticked me off was the guy who kept saying that, theoretically has more motor than I do, and yet his car is over a full scond slower than mine, and that's in the 1/8.

Kid,

Yeah I read a few of the posts on there about the new wiz-bang Parker funnelweb vs strip dominator. Sounds like a Ford vs Chevy debate to me.

Anyway, I love your motor combo, one of these days I'll get there. You just ignore the naysayers and keep blowing their doors off. Gotta luv a Cleveland

I also think it's sad that most of the guys on there will argue that the 2V heads are so much better than the 4Vs. Every time the subject comes up(often) these guys start bashing the 4Vs.

I tried it, but I couldn't stand all of the pop-ups. On top of that, I didn't understand how to read the posts. It was like clicking on each post, instead of each topic.
I dunno, I got fustrated trying to figure it out while pop ups kept rolling in.

You got booted? for humor?

did they just drop your post, or did they kill your name from the site?

Well, he blocked my IP address. When the goofball did this he blocked out everyone from my domain. Bet the advertisers would like to hear about that.Thousands of users blocked out. Then be blocked my whole domain from work out. I admit, we had a little fun with him by posting some stuff after he booted me that created havoc, but ah well. You can see from my post on this site that I am a normal user.

Kid -
I remember reading these posts -- back and forth on the network54 forum.
I've been told for years that my 4V's don't make torque either. That is until a ride is given...

After trading a bunch of personal emails back and forth with him, me and a buddy have come to the conclusion his convertor is junk. I don't care what he does to the motor, or what intake he bolts on it, it's not going to run the way it is capable of with a bad convertor. He seems to be of the impression that a "real" race convertor that stalls over 5000 rpm is excessive even for his pure racecar.

And on top of that, he had several other things wrong, that he still refuses to admitt were a problem. Oh well, I tried to help him, and the thanks I got was that sparring battle we had. I got fed up with it and haven't posted there since.

Yea, the 351C and the 460 forum are FULL of popup ads.... but I've found the cure! (actually someone else mentioned it, but it WORKS!) It's called 'popup stopper', and is available at the following websiet. Best part, is that it's FREE! It will only allow one window of your browser to be open at one time. If you WANT to open another window, just hold down on the control key, and do so. You can also de-activate it by double clicking it's icon at the bottom of the screen in the toolbar.

It makes surfing pop-up filled sites NO PROBLEM!

It's a relatively small file, and works perfect. I've been running it with Exporer 6.0 for a couple months now without a single problem.

A+, highly recommended!

Good Luck!

Well Kid, I was one of those people who sang the praise's of the Parker manifolds, cause they ARE good and there's no doubt you've got your thing going pretty well. Since then however I've had numerous attempted email virus' sent to my email....and the funny thing is, they all have your email address on the return path....course you wouldn't know anything about those??

First of all, you are giving me way too much credit for knowing how to do that.
I check my computer twice a week for viruses, and feel very confident saying my computer does not have one. That being said, even if I knew how to send someone a virus on purpose, I would NEVER do that to anyone. That is truely low and class-less. Something I am above.

And the fact that you even came on here and accused me of doing that to you on purpose
just proves you dont have any idea how viruses are spread and are not above falsely accussing someone of such a foul trick.

Not really a 351C item, but kid is a stand up person IHMO. In "real life" I'm the sysadmin at a university. I run an ISP with 2600 customers, basically. My firewalls DROP 70,000+
unsolicited connections every single day. The more modern virii are storing up addreses found in infected address books and using those to spoof where they are coming from. There are pleny of spam servers that allow mail relays and there's always a new mail admin somewhere that has screwed something up at their site. I've been mailed a virus that was addressed from ME and had had snippets of code from a web page I master. So, there's another source too. These things a nasty and insidious. All it takes is one PhD to open that virus just like we told them not to and 2600+ names can get sucked into a database somewhere. We get several complaints a week from people accusing someone of sending a virus from our place.

Oh, and my old 4V's had plenty of low end torque. I went with the 2V this time because there were no 4V's to be had in the local area.

On that virus issue, I've been sent quite a few. And some came from the people in here, and some of my customers.
They (virus)go into your mail box and grab address, then when you open the attachment "BLAM".
I've been sent pictures of engine parts, music equipment, and some cheezy porn.

I had to write a letter to everyone in my address book and advise them I didn't send these on purpose.

running 4V heads since 1973 love them but you gotta know how they were designed to make them work correctly. CAM timing, intake carb selection is the key
