How far out can I have the cylinder bored before I go to oversized pistons. I have stock flat tops that are in great shape and I would like to reuse them if possible.
Sorry, but if you really need a bore job, you are gonna have to get pistons. If the cylinders are in bad enough shape that it requires a bore then get pistons to match. If the cylinders are round and not tapered and scrached then you can get by with not boring it. Maybe just a hone job. Then your pistons will work.
