I started to read the article in the Tech Dept on the 351C cam swap. But by the time I got to the 3rd page, I found I had to be a subscriber.

The main thing I wanted to know is "what intake and carb they used, and what was the out come?"
The cam they switched to is really close to mine, except they used a hydrolic and mine's solid.

Thanks

The same ones they took off on page two - Torker and some kind of Holley. I run that cam and it liked the Weiand 2V single and a 650DP.

Now really, a Holley Strip Dominator with a Dominator 1050cfm, isn't your ideal set up for a run around town car red lining 6500 rpm's.

Out of respect for the paid subscribers. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a total cheap a$$, and if I have to I'll pay the 6 dollars and change for the 1 month, to read the last page, then so be it.

But Chris you ran the same cam with a Weiand 2V? I thought you ran 4V heads. I'm running the Weiand 4V, and just removed the open 3/4" spacer, and put a 1"- 4 hole spacer under the Holley 750VS. And it really woke up that dead area around 1500-3000 rpm's. But if I could get more streetable torque from another intake, I'd as happy as a pig in (you know what).

So this is what got this cat's curiousity.
