I'm going to start a 76 lincoln next week but I don't know if it is a Windsor or a modified. I can find out next week. I have a distributer for a Windsor that I was going to strip down for a priming tool. Will this work for a Modified? It's been sitting for a few years so I don't want to start it with out priming it.

The 351M is a lot closer to a 351C, so I would say that it would use a different dist. than a 351W. Of course I could be blowing smoke.

I believe all '76 Lincolns had 460 engines. Regardless, a dist. from a 351w will fit a 351c,351m, 400, 429, or 460 if you change the gear. Since you are using it as a priming tool just remove the gear and get to it
