Found a block w/ crank no heads in neighbors storage. It has 360 on the side of it. Is it a 351 cleveland? She wants to part with it. I just want to find out if it's something i might want.
After a little research i think it is a Mopar small block 360.... make offer

The 360 was an engine offered in ford trucks through the '60s. It is part of the FE family. The storied line that produced the 352, 390, and the legendary 427. I'm an FE guy myself, its a good solid power plant. There's a lot you can do with it.

A lot of 360/390's will have "352" cast into the front of the block. Post a photo and we'll tell you if your on the correct forum.

Cheers

Ford 360 has the Distributor hole in FRONT, MOPAR 360 has Distributor hole in the BACK.

BOTH engines can be BLUE (the Ford is darker the MOPAR a light blue)

Beyond that they are NOTHING alike but that they have 8 piston holes....

some Mopar's have the dist. in the front. (trick answer)
