well the time has come to bush the old 302w /c 4 combo and go for something that will get my 67 xr falcon ute down the strip a bit quicker. the other day I scored a sweet 77 black 302 clevo block, std everything and as far as I can tell the heads havent even been off ....core plugs out and no bad pitting in the cooling jackets , just small amounts of the usual flake ,no worries ! so my question is, is it worth the money doing a stroker or will I get my 500 [email protected] the fly wheel with a 3.5" crank 6" rods and well ported 2v aussie heads 2.19 int 1.17ex, funnel web man , 850 carb etc the car weighs approx 3100 lbs and I would love a 12 flat. rear end is a 9 " 3.90 ratio some springs removed with cal tracs. utes hear in aust came with about 7 leaves in the pack and are way hard for strip duties .
