Ive been planing my new motor and i cant seem to find the kind of compression i want with the 67cc heads i have....so ive been messin with different 302 and 351 pistons rods and cranks and came up with this

351 block 9.5, decked .010
3.75 stroke
6inch rods
dome 302 pistons(1.6 comp height)
.040 gasket

the caluclators say that would be about 13.9:1. If the block doesnt need decked it would be 13.4:1, which is still around where i want to be.......im not an expert at this so im not sure about rod ratios and all that stuff but if someone knows can you fill me in??

you'll be about .025 in the hole if you deck height is actually 9.5. Combo should work fine, same as a 383 chevy with an extra 1/2 deck height. Their was an artical about a year ago on a 383 windsor build for a guy at a NJ ford dealer, Dave Jack in NJ did the porting on the Z304 heads and the got i belive in the upper 600's for hp from it.

It's a heavy piston but on paper the combo should pencil. Keep in mind that most cranks will be counterweighted for a large rod so make sure you get a short counterweight crank.
