I have a eagle 3.75 forged crank i picked up a year or so ago that i'm thinking of putting to good use in my 351w.

only problem is i don't know which pistons/rods to use. i want the comp ratio to stay mild(so i can drive it daily) so i'm think 9-9.5:1 for this motor. i just having trouble finding the pistons and rods for it.

can you guys suggest(keep in mind i'm not rich) a good source?

I imagine that its difficult to find off the shelf 302 pistons with enough dish to give you 9.5:1 compression in a 393. To be honest though custom pistons from Diamond , Ross, Wiseco, or any of the others only run $600 . Not a HUGE amount of money. Sell some of the wifes jewelry . She'll get over it.

use dished 302 pistons and a large chamber head 64cc +
You can also look for thick head gaskets. Now if you run aluminum heads on your stroker you can get away with 10.5 comp pretty easy on the street. I used stock TRW's out of a 92 mustang gt and 60 cc heads (dooe) on the street. in My 393. Your Cam choice will have alot to do with what compression you will actually get.

Cool build, shouldn't be much of an issue getting the right stuff.
