I bougth a rebuilt engine for $1200 dollars. this engine came out of a 1966 or 1967 fairlane, i could not rebuild my own for that. the engine is apart. engine ran fine before it was pulled out. I'm located in Northwest Ohio.

I am going to ask a coupe questions to help potential buyers.

1- Does it have the threaded hole for an alternator on the Passenger's side?
2-Does it have provisions for the later model motor mounts?

if it a 62 it takes the old style cam -- and timing cover -and you need the cam retainer button to hold the cam in -- --

Hey, I have a 223 straight six that used to be in those cars. It came out of a 1961 Ford Fairlane it was running when pulled, but its hard to find the distributor for it, so couldn't get the timing perfect. I also have the transmission which is I'm thinking a Borg Warner T-89 or something close to that.
