Today im mocking up my 3g alternator on my 289 with march serpentine setup. I noticed that the b(+) stud where the battery cable hooks up is about 1/8" away from the head. If i try to space it out im afraid the other pulleys wouldnt line up right.

Has anyone else experienced this with a pa-performance 3g alternator?

Most alternators can be "clocked" by unbolting the case halves, and spining the rear section in relation to the front. Usually there is a hole near the rear to slide a pin into and stop the brushes from popping out. I'd give PA Performance a call, or search the internet for instructions. Later on I'll be able to look at mine and see what it would take.
