kinda entertaining the idea of the 4bolt conversion from
milodon for a 85 351w,is the cost of parts and machining, realy worth it,or would a main stud girdle do just as well, looking to make about 600-650 hp with blower,408 ci
im also going to the 2.75 clev main w/spacers also.what do yall guys think, worth it?

absolutely not, not worth it, no benefit and many times weakens the integrity of the block. Have had many clevelands of mine spin 8k+ all 2 bolt blocks. Main girdle work good to keep those windsor cranks from walking around. Main girdle with arp main studs, align hone the mains and call it good.

There's not enough meat in the web for bolts on that block.
C9- D4 blocks will take a 4 bot cap.
I think a straight 4 bolt conversion would be no help. A splayed cap will help with the cap walk but probably not be much stronger.
