The motor will be dynod in about a month at MCRP in Easton PA. Should make 820-850 on q16

i have timeslips of 8.90-9.0s before upgrading a bunch of stuff

new stuff on it is, camshaft, pistons, rings, manifold, valve springs, cam bearings, oil pan (large kickout), main and rod bearings. All other parts have 15 passes since new.

old setup made [email protected].

We found the camshaft needed an upgrade and it would net us a huge gain from the old one.

Shortblock turns over like butter by hand.

and the dyno said ?

9.00 to 8.60 is about 100 hp

Dyno isnt up and running yet. the car went 8.90 with a 2 speed. As stated with a good 3 speed and new parts in the engine, it will be faster. HP isnt the only factor in lowering et's.

the car 60' in the 1.27-1.28 range and the 3 speed will get it closer to 1.20 if not faster. That alone is huge.
