I'm putting a 429 and a toploader in a '66 F100. The bellhousing I bought didn't come with a fork. What if anything else will work with this? 302, 390 or is a 429/460 the only thing that'll work? Anybody got one?

The Fork from my 351C (73 Mustang) was the same part number called out for on the 429 Forum ... for the 429CJ application.

I used it on my 460 swap with a factory C9AA belhousing and it works flawlessly.

if its going in a truck, you will need a fork for a truck. The car fork is shaped differently, and will be to far back for the linkage to engage. The one I used was the same one that came with my 400 bell and worked perfectly. I found out they were different when we put that setup in my 71, and the fork was so close to the car linkage I almost couldnt get it adjusted.
