So I'm new to the big block Fords. I have been around them just never had much dealings with working on one.
My question is i am in the process of buying a 69 ranger with a 429. The motor is a 73 truck engine. How big of valaves can i safely run in the stock bore? I have been looking at the Ford Aluminum heads that have the 2.19/1.76 combination. Will they work? Thanks for any help.
