Anybody tell me how to wire a 5.0 alternator into a 65 Galaxie? I have a engine and AOD out of an 88 Lincoln>

Is that a gen 2 alternator?

Here's a diagram of the 3g, but I think you may have a 2g. You can do a search on the web and you will find the schematics that your looking for. I know that there is a Bronco page that shows it. Maybe just enter into search Ford 2g wiring schematic and you should find something.

hate to say it but i used an early gm alt andd put a serp belt pully on it. all i had to do is make an inch bushing to mack it fit in the aluminum bracket. that way i didnt have to do all the trick wiring

I found a much easier way. I bought a Ford 3G alternator. Then bought a $13 plug that requires me to run one wire to ignition and one wire to battery. Here's a link-

On your 3G install, are you running a single or dbl belt?

Do you mean single or dbl belt on the alternator? I run one belt with 3G and 2 belts total.
