Just a quick question, Can a 86 5.0/302 HO engine that has been setup to run in a fox-body with the rear sump oil pan be converted to use the front sump style? I wasn't sure if they relocated the oil pump to the rear, or left it in the front and ran the pick-up down and back.

It sure can ! All 302 or 5.0 engines have the pump in the front of the block it is driven by the dizzy and you can use a front sump pan if you have the correct pickup and tube. I think you also have to convert to an older style front cover to use the dipstick
