I have heard about putting 62 lower control arms on a 63 or 64 to get rid of those offset shafts or whatever they are called,a friend has a 64 wagon and no one seems to know how to align it right (even the shop I used thats been around since the 50s) so is there anyone who has done it as I can get the control arms cheaper then the kits to replace the offset shafts and since the 64 has new balljoints and bushings would they fit the 62 arms. I fail to understand why people have so much trouble with the 1963/64 front ends. I had mine laser aliegned and put a Greg Donahue toe in stabilizer on it. It drives great, and I have had no trouble at all with it.

I am not a front end man, but I bought the complete front end kit from Kanter and installed it myself. After having it aliegned and the stabilizer installed it has been good to go.
