Hello There, I am new to the site. My wife just bought me a 64 Galaxy Convertible.I am beyond excited. Does anyone know how to the fix the shift arm on the column so it isn't sloppy? It feels like it could slip to the next gear when pulling from gear to gear.

Gotta start tearing the whole car apart for complete frame off rebuild.

I would start by doing forum searches, google, try to get some looks at pics. Definately order a repair manual.
Could be in top or bottom of steering column
Im sure one of the gurus will chime in, give them time.
