Does a 03-05 crown vic front end fit onto a 64 tbird? (got idea from gmg.) If so, any special tricks or tools needed for it to work? thanks for your input. *front end conversion*

The CV front end will work in cases where the frame rails are straight. In Galaxies, the frame comes up and then down again with the high point being the top spring mount. I'm not sure about the TBird but I suspect it would be similar.

64 Thunderbird is a unibody car, they already had integrated type power steering and should be able to adapt 65 disk brakes. I had one, rode great. Not a corner carver or drag racer, just a nice comfortable ride. You would invest a lot to end up with something not much better. But it is your ride.
