Hey fellow Fairlane fans I am looking for a simple way to make the clutch linkage work on my 64 w/86 block and a t-5 trans. Cable won't work due to no room on top of cl. pedal I'm thinking hyd. throw out bearing but one from a F-150 won't work. Help please.

after my experiences with hydraulics on my stupid 5.0L Ranger, never again, i don't even want hydraulic brakes anymore!

You can use factory clutch linkage, if using a stock T5 bellhousing you need to make a taller pivot for the fork...about 3/4" taller than the one in a normal (non-cable) bellhousing. If you have a late model block without the hole the block pivot can be made up using a bracket off two bellhousing bolts.

A cable can be adapted, i did it on my Ranger, but lotsa trial and error.

Somewhere around here i might have the clutch linkage from when i had a 5.0L/T5 in my Fairlane
